Brian R. O'Hagan

As a strategic advisor to Innovation Capital, Mr. O’Hagan has over 25 years of multi-unit restaurant and retail experience. Mr. O’Hagan has extensive relationships with restaurant industry owners, CEOs, CFOs and operating executives.
Most recently, Mr. O’Hagan has advised in the mid-market restaurant segment on over $300 million of transaction value including the sale of Hooters of America and Texas Wings to HIG Capital and Karp Reilly LLC, respectively.
Prior to affiliating with Innovation Capital, Mr. O’Hagan has been a consultant and advisor to mid-market restaurant companies such as Ruth Chris, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Uno’s Chicago Grill. Mr. O’Hagan has also worked for Cosi, Church’s, and Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.
Mr. O’Hagan began his career with Procter & Gamble and headed up PepsiCo’s food service division as manager of the entire Eastern division, managing restaurants for both franchise and corporate multi-unit restaurants. Early in his career with PepsiCo, Mr. O’Hagan managed the entire Subway business.
Mr. O’Hagan’s client base includes public and privately-held companies comprising both franchisees and franchisors. Mr. O’Hagan enjoys relationships with many private equity groups, investors, bankers and family funds. Mr. O’Hagan has worked with many of the country’s leading restaurant groups including Panda Restaurant Group, Hooters Inc., Uno’s, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Hardee’s, KFC, Burger King and Miller’s Ale House among many others.
Mr. O’Hagan received his BA from Columbia University where he was captain of the football team and the first Lou Little Scholar. Mr. O’Hagan attended Fordham School of Law, and was a free agent with the Miami Dolphins football team.
Mr. O’Hagan’s family owned and operated restaurants in New York City and the metropolitan area where he began his career as a restaurant employee at age 14.
