Andrew Margolick, Strategic Advisory Partner – Restaurant & Retail

Andrew Margolick is the Founder and President of ARM Consulting, LLC. A formidable presence in the industry, Mr. Margolick boasts a distinguished and diverse real estate track record. With wide ranging expertise, running the gamut from acquisition and ownership to tenant representation and disposition, Mr. Margolick is recognized as one of the nation's leading real estate dealmakers. He has worked on the real estate portfolios of many leading companies in the retail, grocery, and restaurant sectors.

Throughout his career, Margolick has been praised for being very nimble and creative--traits he leverages to efficiently execute on leases. Mr. Margolick has built a successful career and excellent reputation through his success renewing, disposing and restructuring over 3,000 leases nationwide, saving his clients (both healthy and distressed companies) over $300 million in leasehold obligations. This experience, along with his unparalleled, nation-wide network of highly placed real estate decision makers, has allowed him to help his clients reduce costs, maximize the value of their leases and rest secure in the knowledge that they've obtained the best possible deal.

Prior to re-booting ARM Consulting, LLC in May of 2015 (the company was active from 2009-2012) Margolick was formerly a Principal at A&G Realty Partners. He was also a Vice President of Hilco Real Estate, LLC and EVP of The Margolick Financial Group. While at The Margolick Financial Group, he was instrumental in the acquisition of 15 million square feet of enclosed regional mall space, and raised $400 million of Investment Equity and $1.5 billion of debt.

Andrew is a 15-year member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves as an annual guest lecturer at the University of Illinois regarding lease restructuring. He is as an Executive Board member for the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation, the Israel Sports Center for the Disabled and The Israel Association of Baseball. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida, where he was an All-American selection in baseball after transferring from the University of Southern California. He went on to play two years of professional baseball before retiring due to injury. He resides in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife Katie and three children.
